Some of you have asked about a training schedule or plan. I am not a certified running coach (yet). So, I honestly do not feel comfortable giving you a training plan until I am certified. However, I will give you all some links of places to get great training plans depending on what type of distance you are planning on trying to train for.
Hal Higdon’s Training Programs
C25K (Couch to 5K) Training Program — First off, it’s FREE. They also offer a bridge to 10K, Half Marathon, and Full Marathon. I like this program a lot. They have an app that you download onto your phone. I know quite a few people that hated running or have never ran before that successfully completed the C25K program and are now going for more distance.
